Habitat: Raised in plantations

Distribution:  Native of Australia, widely planted in Asia

Flowering and Fruiting: March-October

Key identification features: The tree grows up to 15 m in height, with bipinnate leaves, silky young parts, and slender branchlets. It produces white or creamy flowers in axillary or terminal clusters.

Uses: Used in tannin production and paper production
