Habit: Tree

Habitat: Evergreen forests

Distribution: Southern Western Ghats

Flowering & Fruiting: November-June

Key identification features: A small evergreen tree of Western Ghats. Leaves are compound with short petiole and even pinnate; leaflets in 2 pairs. Inflorescence is a raceme. Flowers are attractive with pink sepals and white petals tinged pink. Fruit is a leathery pod.

Uses: Used as wood
