Synonym: Connarus hainanensis Merr.

Habit: Climbing shrub

Habitat: Evergreen forests

Flowering & Fruiting: October-May

Distribution: India, Bangladesh, Indo-China and Malaya Peninsula

Key identification features: Large shrubs or lianas; bark minutely lenticelled, reddish brown. Leaves alternate, imparipinnate, glabrous; Inflorescences terminal and axillary, panicled, Petals narrowly spatulate, obtuse, yellow or white and sparsely puberulous outside, white and glandular-punctate inside. Follicles obovoid or oblong, seeds compressed
