Habit: Climber

Habitat: All type of forests, also in the plains

Flowering & Fruiting: January-April

Distribution: Pantropical

Key identification features: Twiners; young shoots puberulous. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, base cordate or rounded, apex acuminate, pubescent below; Inflorescence axillary umbelliform cymes; Corolla white, campanulate; Capsule ovoid. Seeds long hairy, black.

Uses: Anti-inflammatory agent to treat burns and scales
