Key Identification Features - It is a prostrate plant with attractive purple colored leaves. Flowers are white, found in terminal spikes. Flowers are tubular, cylindrical below, swollen above.
Uses - Leaves used to treat bloody diarrhoea, hemorrhoids, excessive menstruation and skin diseases.
