Key identification features: Diffuse
herbs with a 4-angled stem covered in minutely hairy growth. The leaves are

cluster containing only a few blossoms. The pinkish-white corolla has a funnel-shaped
tube. 4 exserted stamens complete the floral structure. Fruit is a capsule.
Uses: In traditional medicine, it
is recognized for its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal
properties.
