simple, opposite, pairs unequal, decussate. Flowers in terminal cymes, white,
fragrant. Fruit and Seed Follicles, boat-shaped, orange-yellow; seeds many
arillate.
Uses:
Treating skin disorders and gastrointestinal ailments, owing to their
antimicrobial and gastroprotective properties.
