Key identification features: Stem angled. Leaf lanceolate, apex acuminate with united nerves. Inflorescence axillary; Flowers densely packedstamens 6, free; ovary obovoid, stigma 3-toothed.
Uses: Leaves used as a bath for curing
convulsions and epilepsy. The powdered leaves are applied to the body as cure
for smallpox. The whole plant is used in burning sensation, asthma, skin
diseases and swellings.
