Key identification features: A twining vine with imparipinnate leaves and elliptic leaflets. The flowers are solitary, with bluish-violet corollas. The legume is oblong and ribbed along both margins. Seeds numerous, oblong, flattened, dark brown.
Uses:
Herbal tea prepared by boiling the fresh petals with water. A mixture of flower and milk taken orally to reduce
body heat. Root paste used as a cure for snake bite.
