Key Identification Features – This
glabrous herb grows up to 7 cm tall. Its leaves are simple, opposite,
linear-lanceolate, and measure 5-10 x 1-2 mm. The white flowers occur singly or
in clusters of 2-3 in the axils, with filiform pedicel. The corolla is campanulate,
villous within the throat. It has 4 included stamens with oblong anthers. The
subglobose ovary has connate styles above, and the capsule contains reticulate
seeds.
