Key Identifcation Features - It is a medium-sized tree with nearly smooth, grey bark. Its pinnate leaves are glabrous and shining above, while the undersides appear glaucous. The tree produces bright pink to lilac flowers in clustered racemes and fleshy drupes with brown, muricated rinds that turn red. The seeds are shining brown. Gliricidia serves various purposes, including living fences, forage, and shade. 

Uses - It is a Medicinal, an Exotic and an Edible plant
