Habit: Shrubs

Habitat: Degraded forests also in the plains

Distribution: Dry tropical biome

Key identification features: Erect undershrubs, densely hirsute all over. Leaves ovate or elliptic, base rounded, apex acuminate, silky hairy on both sides; Flowers yellow, in axillary and terminal few-flowered racemes; Seeds many, orbicular, compressed, light brown.

Flowering and Fruiting: September-December

Uses: Treat unspecified medicinal disorders, has environmental uses and social uses, as a poison and a medicine and for food.
