Beak-Sedge is a tufted annual herb, with hairless stem. Leaves are narrow,
linear. Leaf margins are fringed with hair. Flowers are reddish-brown heads
with many clustered spikelets. There are 3-6 leaf-like bracts just below the
flower-heads. Nuts are brown. Two-Color Beak-Sedge is found in wet, sandy
areas.
