Key identification features: The tree stands has a buttressed bole.
Its bark is yellowish-brown, mottled with white, and smooth. The

produces pinkish to dull red flowers. The flowers grow in lax axillary or terminal dichasial
cymes. The tree’s fruit is a capsule. The capsule is brown and
smooth.
Uses: Used as timber
