Key identification features: Slender twining herbs with leaves. The flowers are either solitary or arranged in subumbellate cymes. The corolla is yellowish, with a purplish throat. The capsule is
across, subglobose in shape, and has an apical
beak. The seeds are ovoid.
Uses: have diuretic, laxative, and anti-inflammatory effects. It is
often used to treat urinary disorders, constipation, gastrointestinal issues,
and inflammatory conditions.
