Key identification features:
Creeping Indigo is a prostrate to weakly rising up perennial herb. Leaves are
compound with 5-11 leaflets which are alternate to subopposite, obovate to
oblong-wedge-shaped. Salmon colored, pea-like flowers occur in racemes. Pods
straight, reflexed, linear, somewhat four-edged.
Uses:
Used as a poison and a medicine and has
environmental uses.
