Flowering and Fruiting: July-September

Key identification features: Trailing or diffuse herbs. Leaves lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, base obtuse, apex acute or acuminate; Petals blue, Capsule oblong, 3-celled, apex beaked. Seeds tuberculate and reticulate.

Uses: Heal swelling, treatment of urinary tract infection and respiratory tract infections, diarrhea, enteritis, and hemorrhoids
