Key identification features: Erect herbs; stem and branches winged. Leaves opposite, sessile, ovate-acute, Flowers in terminal and axillary, dichotomously branched, lax cymes; Corolla rose, tube. Capsule linear.

Uses: It is used as a traditional medicine, as well as for its oil.
