Habitat: Riversides and moist locations

Distribution: India, Caribbean, Java, Philippines, Central America

Flowering and Fruiting: September-December

Key identification features: It is a herb with compound leaf and consist of 20-60 leaflets. The inflorescence occurs in the axils, forming a few-flowered raceme with hispidulous axes. The petals are yellowish to tan, often displaying red or purplish lines, and they are glabrous. The fruit consists of 3-9 articulate segments with black seeds. 

Uses: Forage crop for livestock
